Ally declares intent to gather 28,000 signatures at Utah State Capitol

January 3, 2021 – Wearing her signature red running shoes, today Ally Isom declared her intent to gather signatures to qualify for the Republican primary ballot for the U.S. Senate. The campaign now has about 90 days to collect 28,000 signatures from registered Republican voters across Utah to ensure her name is on the June primary election ballot. Once they are submitted, Ally  is one step closer to being elected to the U.S. Senate.

“Utah deserves a different kind of leadership in D.C., a voice for unity and core principles,” Ally told supporters. “The threshold of 28,000 signatures is high and the timeframe of 90 days is short. This is a crucial undertaking for the campaign, and I am inspired by the passionate Utahns who are volunteering their time to collect signatures and donate to our effort.”

All of the signatures must be collected in person and are verified by the Utah Elections Office – online signatures are not allowed. To sign the ballot petition, you must be a registered Utah Republican voter (check your registration HERE).

Over the next several weeks, Team Ally will be out in neighborhoods statewide, wearing red shirts, collecting signatures, and rallying to meet our target. There will also be in-person signature drives, where supporters can show up and sign a ballot petition near their residence.
