In my #WalkAMile through Riverdale, I spoke with City Manager Bill Cobabe and Recorder Michelle Marigoni. I asked them what weighs on their minds. Bill talked about how unusual it is that their city of 9,000 people needs to staff 22 full-time police officers because they have so much retail and are targeted. It’s a real challenge of having a thriving business and retail sector. We also talked about water and their plans for using new infrastructure money. Michelle talked about the goodness she sees in her community and in our country. All three of us are so grateful for the women and men in law enforcement who serve and protect our communities.
