Over the last six months, wearing my red running shoes, I walked with everyday Utahns in more than 70 Utah cities and towns across this beautiful state. I've listened to local community leaders, parents, business owners, entrepreneurs, ranchers, and everyone in between — all in an effort to understand what's top of mind and in the hearts of my fellow Utahns. Consistent themes emerged: water, affordable housing, the economy, childcare, law enforcement morale, and the impact of the pandemic. Those conversations are now the foundation for my policy positions. This compact is a commitment to continue to truly listen to Utah, to fight for the right things, to achieve a vision for our nation—a shared vision of cooperation, prosperity and family success.
